    7-day money-back on every charge

There's no pass guarantee. We don't give the test and we don't grade it, so we won't promise you a result. We'll promise what we control: original questions written to EPA's published Test Topics (updated December 5, 2025), and every question that keys a regulatory number cites its source and date.

We don't certify you. The program that tests you does.

Pass608 is an independent study tool. EPA sets the rules and keeps the question bank secret; EPA releases it "only to approved technician certification programs" (40 CFR 82.161). The 87 programs on EPA's list (updated August 20, 2026) give the test and issue the card. You pay the program for the test, separately from anything you buy here.

    Which plan?

    • Taking the Type II test only: $15.
    • Testing Type I, Type III or Universal: $29.
    • Not sure: start free. Core is on every test, and you can upgrade later for $14.

A2L/A3 questions come with both plans. ESCO Institute offers a "2018" and a "2026" EPA exam. ACHR News reported on September 19, 2026, quoting ESCO, that the new bank adds general-knowledge questions on A2L and A3 refrigerants and that old-bank exams "can be administered only through Jan. 1, 2027." EPA hasn't published the change on its own pages as of September 24, 2026. In 2021 it wrote that its bank "already includes questions concerning A2L refrigerants" (86 FR 24468). What's reported and what's confirmed.
